Description
I fixed my tablet the other day so I can draw digitally again. I felt like drawing a portrait and settled on Aya Hirano of Haruhi Suzumiya fame. She's the VA for the title character and she does an outstanding job! The second season started a few weeks ago! 
This was a tough portrait to do because I struggled with capturing her look. It's not perfect, but I think she's at least recognizable now. I'm really happy with how some areas turned out, especially her lips and jewelry. I really need more practice coloring hair. Till next time!

Try to use a sharp edge brush to render the skin and give some hue variations to avoid the dullness of the overlapping brush strokes.
It will be nice to see this portrait 'completed' adjusting that.
